EcoChef: Sustainable and Delicious Cooking from My Home to Yours!

Welcome!

Thank you so much for visiting my site! I am passionate about three things: cooking, the environment, and animals. Luckily, being a personal chef allows me to involve two out of the three! I offer a service that concentrates on making amazingly good foods while taking into account the impact cooking can make on the environment. Especially during spring, summer, and fall, I use locally grown produce. This not only reduces our eco-footprint, it also reduces the cost for you! Minnesota has an amazing variety of locally grown products, and I enjoy utilizing them all.

Qualifications

My most important qualification is the home I grew up in. I remember kids saying, "Let's not go to Rachel's house, she doesn't have any junk food!" Boy, were they missing out! My parents are absolutely the best cooks I know and I watched them from a very young age. The foods I grew up with were fresh, eclectic, and delicious. I cannot wait to bring these same qualities to your dinner table!


For the past year I have been working as a personal chef in St. Louis, MO. In Missouri I worked primarily for a family of three who enjoy an array of cuisines. This allowed me to cook a fair amount of my favorite cuisine: Indian!


I received a Bachelor's Degree from Washington University in St. Louis where I focused on Environmental Science, Sustainable Development, and Ecology. I use my learned skills daily while picking out the best foods for sustainable cooking.

How It Works

My house to yours... Pretty much says it all!

I prep and cook the meals at my house and bring them to you. Some dishes will be fully cooked, such as chicken fajitas, and just need to be reheated and enjoyed! Others will be delivered marinated and ready to grill, etc. I will always attach instructions on how to finish the dish. To find out which meals arrive fully cooked and which ones arrive ready to be finished, please send me an email.

I can cook for you on a regular or irregular basis. Just send me an email and I will let you know if I am available. I only cook 2-3 meals/day, so each meal gets the attention it deserves!

***I usually deliver meals the afternoon/evening you request it for, but I will also deliver frozen meals on Sundays. These meals are marked on the menu page.
